Good intentions
My friend Christina writes every day. She’s dedicated to her fantastic blog as much as she’s dedicated to her religion.
I wish I held a devout practice for something other than my sweet tooth, preferably something a bit more productive, healthy.
My intentions to do such, however, are ever-present and good. Does that count?
I fear it doesn’t — one can be excused by “good intentions” for only so long before she becomes fickle.
Which is why I wrote today — my reputation is at stake.

Good job! Writing daily was a good intention of mine for years before I started my blog, which was prompted by the deadline of my 30th birthday. And my current list of good intentions is very, very long. It includes regular exercise, cooking dinner, sending birthday cards and keeping my house in presentable condition.
